Key takeaways
- 01 The label lists five actives per capsule: ginger 200 mg, boswellia 100 mg, a hyaluronic acid matrix 80 mg, pine bark 150 mg and black pepper extract 5 mg.
- 02 The seller sells the matrix as Mobilee and the black pepper extract as BioPerine.
- 03 Other ingredients are cellulose (the capsule), magnesium stearate and silica.
- 04 The four studies we link are research on single ingredients, not tests of Joint Genesis itself.
Joint Genesis ingredients are easy to understand once you see how the seller organizes them. Instead of a long list of names, the capsule holds five actives, each with its own dose and its own job. This page walks through the label piece by piece. We repeat the roles as the seller’s statements, not as results we tested, and every dose below is printed on the label.
The formula at a glance
| Ingredient | Dose per capsule | Seller’s stated role |
|---|---|---|
| Ginger powder (Zingiber officinale, root) | 200 mg | Comfort and a healthy inflammatory response |
| Boswellia extract (resin of Boswellia serrata), 65% boswellic acid standard | 100 mg | Comfort and a healthy inflammatory response |
| Hyaluronic acid matrix (the seller calls it Mobilee) | 80 mg | Replenishing the hyaluronan in synovial fluid |
| Pine bark extract (Pinus pinaster), the French maritime pine bark | 150 mg | Antioxidant support, said to travel into the synovial fluid |
| Black pepper extract (Piper nigrum fruit), 95% piperine standard | 5 mg | Helping absorption |
A single capsule counts as a serving, and every bottle holds 30 servings. Add up the five printed doses and the total is 535 mg of actives in each capsule, a sum we worked out ourselves. Doctor Formulated appears on the front of the bottle.
The hyaluronic acid matrix
This is the ingredient the seller builds its story around. The seller describes hyaluronan as the reason synovial fluid, the liquid inside your joints, has its thick, lubricating quality, and claims joints lose hyaluronan faster after 30. The matrix in Joint Genesis is a small blend: 60 to 80% hyaluronic acid, more than 5 to 15% polysaccharides and more than 5 to 20% collagen type II, according to the label.
The seller markets it as Mobilee and says “an 80mg dose … shown to multiply hyaluronan levels in the joints by a factor of 10,” pointing to 14 trials. That is the seller’s claim, and we pass it on as theirs. It also underpins the seller’s line that Joint Genesis is “the first in the world to combine four research-backed joint-supporting nutrients with Mobilee.”
The matrix comes from an animal source, so shoppers who avoid animal products should ask the seller first.
Pine bark extract
The label names Pinus pinaster, the French maritime pine, and lists 150 mg per capsule. According to the seller, it works as a powerful antioxidant and distributes into the synovial fluid, which is why it sits in a joint formula. The label does not give any brand name for the extract, so we do not either.
Ginger powder
At 200 mg of root powder, ginger is the biggest dose in the capsule. Most of us know it from the kitchen, and the seller pairs it with boswellia as one of two ingredients aimed at comfort and a healthy inflammatory response.
Boswellia extract
The 100 mg of Boswellia serrata gum resin extract is standardized to 65% boswellic acid, a detail that helps you compare it with other products that publish the same figure. The seller gives it the same role as ginger, which is to support comfort and a healthy inflammatory response.
Black pepper extract
Five milligrams may look small, but black pepper extract is there for a reason. It is standardized to 95% piperine (the seller’s BioPerine), and the seller credits it with helping the body take up the other ingredients. It is the quiet team player of the formula.
What else is in the capsule
The remaining ingredients are cellulose, which forms the capsule shell, magnesium stearate and silica. On the seller’s free-from list you will find gluten, dairy, nuts and soy, along with egg, crustaceans, GMOs and BPA, and it quotes a two-year shelf life. If you have a food sensitivity, read the label again when your bottle arrives.
The research behind the ingredients
The seller’s reference list covers each of the main ingredients, and we looked up four of those studies on PubMed. They are research on single ingredients, and none of them tested Joint Genesis. They do not show that the capsule works, and we do not present them that way.

How to read the dose line
Many joint products hide their amounts inside a single blend total. Joint Genesis does not: you get a figure for each ingredient. The practical way to use that is to compare it with any other product you are considering, line by line, and to look at standardization too, such as 65% boswellic acid and 95% piperine. For questions about amounts or sourcing, email [email protected] or ring (800) 589-4191.
Badges the seller shows
The seal strip on our hub page repeats the seller’s manufacturing claims: cGMP production and an FDA-inspected facility, both flagged as the seller’s, plus the line Formulated in the USA from its site footer. We have not inspected any facility ourselves.
How the capsule is taken
According to the seller’s FAQ, a single capsule each day, swallowed with water and preferably in the morning, is the routine. A bottle of 30 capsules lasts 30 days, so the three packages cover 60, 90 and 180 days. Pregnant, nursing, on regular medication or living with a medical condition? The seller wants you to ask your doctor before you begin. Our safety page lists the questions worth taking to that conversation.
To see how the formula turns into a monthly cost, our price page lays out the packages and the per-day numbers.
