Frequently asked questions
What is FemiCore?
FemiCore is a dietary supplement capsule for women, marketed for urinary health, bladder control and what its label calls microbiome balance. Each capsule holds a proprietary blend of four plant ingredients and five Lactobacillus species. It is sold as a supplement, not a medicine, and the finished formula itself has not been tested in a clinical trial.
Is FemiCore approved by the FDA?
FemiCore is sold as a dietary supplement, and the FDA has no pre-market approval process for supplements; that is true of every brand on the market, not only this one. Supplements follow the agency's dietary supplement rules instead of the route used for medicines. The official site shows a seal saying the capsules are made in an FDA registered facility, which means the plant itself is registered with the agency. The site also shows GMP Certified and Non-GMO seals without naming the certifier.
How do you take FemiCore?
The directions are one capsule every morning with a big glass of water. A bottle has 30 capsules, so it lasts one month. The seller says the formula contains no stimulants. If you take prescription medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist before adding it to your routine.
When could I expect to notice a difference?
The seller advises using it for at least three months before judging it. Because no trial of the finished product exists, there is no tested timeline to compare against. Keep in mind that the refund window is 60 days from delivery, which ends before that three-month mark.
What ingredients are in FemiCore?
Nine in total, inside a single proprietary blend. Four come from plants or plant extracts: cranberry, bearberry (also called uva ursi), granular berberine and Mimosa pudica. Five are Lactobacillus probiotic species: casei, gasseri, plantarum, acidophilus and crispatus. The seller describes the capsules as non-GMO. Our ingredients page rates the research behind each one.
How much of each ingredient does a capsule contain?
The label does not say. Because the nine ingredients sit inside a proprietary blend, the individual doses are hidden. Also missing: the CFU count, probiotic strain codes, the cranberry PAC content, the bearberry arbutin content, how much berberine is used, and a certificate of analysis from a lab. That makes it hard to compare FemiCore with studied amounts.
Can FemiCore stop bladder leaks?
There is no good evidence that it can. None of the ingredients has human trials for leaks or urgency. The idea behind it, that the female bladder has its own microbiome, comes from early science since about 2012 and does not show that oral probiotics change symptoms. A doctor can look for causes and discuss options such as pelvic floor muscle training.
Does FemiCore help prevent urinary tract infections?
It is not proven to. In a 2023 Cochrane review, cranberry lowered the number of repeat infections for women who get them often, yet any benefit hinges on how much PAC a product delivers, and FemiCore keeps that figure private. The Lactobacillus crispatus trial that showed fewer repeat UTIs used a vaginal product, not an oral capsule.
What side effects can FemiCore cause?
The most likely are gas, bloating or an upset stomach in the first one to two weeks, mainly from the probiotics. Bearberry can cause nausea and can turn urine a harmless green-brown. Berberine can upset digestion and lower blood sugar. Stop and ask a doctor if anything feels wrong or persists.
Who should not take FemiCore?
Our guidance: skip it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disease, or are buying it for a child, mainly because of berberine and bearberry. People with a severely weakened immune system should ask first because of the probiotics. The seller's own site also tells anyone pregnant, nursing, taking medication or living with a medical condition to check with a physician.
Can FemiCore interact with my medicines?
Yes, it can. Berberine adds to the sugar-lowering effect of diabetes drugs, can drop blood pressure, and holds back two drug-clearing enzymes (CYP3A4, CYP2D6), so medicines like cyclosporine can build up. Cranberry has case reports with warfarin, and bearberry interacts with lithium. Show the label to your pharmacist before starting.
When should I see a doctor instead of trying a supplement?
Book a medical visit first for any of these: blood showing in the urine, a fever with or without chills, an ache in the flank, stinging while urinating, or bladder control that changes suddenly. Confusion in an older relative who also has urinary symptoms needs prompt medical attention too. These signs can point to an infection or another condition.
How much does FemiCore cost?
Packages run from $49 to $79 per bottle. Two bottles cost $158 plus $9.99 US shipping, three cost $207 and six cost $294, both with free US shipping. At one capsule a day that works out to about $2.80, $2.30 or $1.63 per day. The $179 per bottle figure shown is the seller's reference price.
What bonuses come with FemiCore?
Three bonus guides come with the 6-bottle order and no other package. One covers digestion ('Reset Your Gut'), one covers hip and leg mobility ('Unlock Painless Hips & Legs'), and one is a seven-day plan for passion in a marriage. The seller values them at $397, $197 and $199 respectively. None of them concerns bladder health.
Is FemiCore a subscription?
No. The official site sells one-time packages and shows no hidden autoship, so you are charged once per order. Checkout is handled by BuyGoods and accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. International orders add $15.95 shipping and take 10 to 15 business days to arrive.
How does the 60-day money-back guarantee work?
You have 60 days counted from the delivery date. Write to support using 'Refund Request' as the subject, then post back all the bottles, used or unused, along with the original packing slip and a note that gives your order ID, name and email. You cover the return postage. The seller's help section has a dedicated refunds page with these rules.
Where is the return address for FemiCore refunds?
The refunds help page lists 285 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278, USA. Send the parcel only after emailing support with the 'Refund Request' subject, and include the packing slip plus a note with your order details. Keeping the tracking number for your parcel is a sensible extra step.
Can I buy FemiCore on Amazon, Walmart or eBay?
According to the seller, none of those three marketplaces is an authorized outlet for FemiCore. Bottles found there could be counterfeit or past their best, and buying them forfeits the 60-day guarantee. The genuine store is thefemicore.com, where checkout runs through BuyGoods. Our where-to-buy page lists the checks to run before paying.
